General overview
Our back garden is perfect for morning breakfast or dinners under the sunset. There are cozy fireplaces in the front and back of the house for those who visit during the winter season. The central subway is 3 mins walk away to get anywhere. The music systems (sonos) keeps the vibe flowing while you are cooking or eating. There is a playground with a wadding pool across the street and all the amenities you need within a 10 minute walk to access groceries, international restaurants bakeries and cafes. Come taste the best maple syrup you will ever have from our farmer's markets!
The space
When you enter our home you will see a comfortable living room on your left with windows over looking the park. Our TV has access to Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Disney+. It is open concept with our large dining room (now converted to a second sitting room for reading, puzzles or board games with the kids).
Next you will find a comfortable kitchen with all the cooking amenities - we LOVE to cook. attached to the Kitchen is our dining room which seats 6 and can extend to fit 8 guests. The dining room opens up onto the backyard patio and outdoor dining space. Behind that is our private garage where children often play sports in the laneway.
We have a primary bedroom upstairs (king size bed) with an ensuite bathroom. There is also an office/sunroom off of the bedroom with full privacy and double doors. On the same floor you will find a double room turned into one large room with two double beds and one trundle bed to sleep up to 5 people. The second bedroom has it's own full bathroom.
The basement floor has two bedrooms. One with a double bed and another with a sofa bed. There is a full bathroom in the basement as well. Also a sitting area and playroom with a walk out door to the back garden. Laundry is located on this floor as well.
Air Conditioning and Central Heat are throughout the home and all the windows have screens on them if you prefer a fresh breeze.
Guest access
The house is over two floors plus a basement. Access through the front door and back door plus a garage with a midsize SUV. You can enter the home with a key from the front or back and also use a digital pad on the front of the house should you forget your key. We have a keypad locked garage to keep your vehicle private as well or can swap ours if we are flying to our swap.

Neighbourhood
You can take the metro to any major attractions within 20 minutes. We are a 3 minute walk to the subway station. 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants, groceries and shopping. There are parks in walking distance as well. Great cafe's to enjoy a morning coffee and croissant. Located in Bedford Park there are many families and seniors living in our area. Shops line our main road and parks can be found any direction you move.
We are 20 minutes by metro to Yorkville where luxury lives in the city.
We are 30 minutes by metro to broadway and the downtown core.
We are 40 minutes to the waterfront where you can see a baseball game (MLB), basketball game (NBA) or Hockey Game (NHL).
Getting to my home
From Toronto Pearson International Airport we are a 30 minute taxi ride away. You can get to us from the UP express and the subway line which will take longer.

Getting around
Transportation is easy with our car or the metro station near by. Ubers are great for late at night as well.

We are a family of 4 from Toronto, Canada. With employment that allows us to travel often and work abroad we are so happy to be part of the community. I work at a global Marketing firm and Martin owns his own business.
I was born and raised in Canada with Russian/Polish and Trinidadian parents. And Martin moved to Canada from Trinidad with Portuguese and Indian Heritage. We are as multicultural as it gets.
We can’t wait to explore the world from a local perspective and make some global friends along the way! We have loved our home exchanges so far and enjoy watching the world through the eyes of our two boys aged 6 and 8. I hope some of you enjoy our 4 bedroom home in Toronto.
