From that area you can start endless hikes in the summer, starting in the famous Paradise Meadows. Our boys enjoy feeding Whiskey Jack birds from your hands and abundant wildlife around. Our chalet is part of a quaint village. We have sleds for your use in the winter. In the summer I'll give you insider tips to secluded secret waterfalls and swimming holes. Drive 20-30 minutes to wineries, craft breweries, ocean bonfires and sandy beach swimming! Or hike 2 km to an alpine lake to have to yourself for a swim. You can bike from our place right onto the chairlift in the summer or check out the ziplining! Comox Valley and Campbell River have world class whale watching, salmon fishing and dining and are only 30 min drive away. Our favorite things to do in the summer are to hike in old growth, find secret swimming holes and finish with a bonfire on the ocean or a craft beer in the alpine. In the winter, we will tell how to find a secret ice castle and our favorite ski runs! Come see why we moved here 18 years ago and never looked back!
