General overview

Welcome to our cozy and bright 75 kvm2 apartment with two balconies! On the backyard balcony, you will usually have plenty of sun during mid day and afternoon, perfect for some refreshing drinks. The apartment is placed close to the metro at Vanløse station that will take you around anywhere in Copenhagen, all hours of the day. In and around the city center you can find restaurants, sightseeings and tons of shopping. Our apartment fits four people in two queen-size beds (six, if two are willing to sleep on a 140 cm sleeping couch. It would be pretty crammed if you are six adults though.) Ideas of what to do in Copenhagen: Tivoli (the second oldest amusement part in the world), Reffen (street food, culture, partying), Nyhavn (a beautiful walk by the canal houses), and Strøget (long shopping street in the very heart of CPH) Amager Strand (a man-made beach reachable by the metro) Rent a bike and experience the number one used transportation in Copenhagen. Come and experience our wonderful city!

The space

There's two separate bedrooms, a common livingroom and a bathtub you can relax in. It's decorated with lots of color and light strings. The livingroom and one bedroom is separated by a glass wall, that can be shaded with blinds. It is a very child friendly apartment with a child seat for the dining table, and lots of toys for the smaller ages. There´s also a playground for younger children that belongs to the building in the backyard.

Guest access

The apartment is on the second floor without an elevator.

Notes

Neighbourhood

We are located at the end station of the M2 metro line (Vanløse station) in a relatively calm area. A thoroughfare is close to our place, which provides abundant possibilities for people and car watching. There´s a small lake (Damhussøen) about one kilometer away, as well as a meadow (Damhusengen). Both are frequently used during spring and summertime for running, walking and barbecues. With the proximity to the metro, the bustling city center is close (10 minutes to Nørreport station). In Copenhagen you find lots of local sites of interest: castles, museums, harbour swimming, more parks, shopping, cafes as well as restaurants. If you´re feeling like having a break from the city, you can easily reach Amager Beach within 20 minutes (metro), where you can get some wind through your hair. You can also reach our neighbouring country Sweden and the city of Malmö in about 1 hour, both by car and train. Therefore you can easily experience two countries during your stay here. If you feel like preparing your own food, there´s plenty of groceries within 350-500 meters, and the usually close around 20/22 o´clock.

Getting to my home

If you arrive at Copenhagen Airport, a metro goes directly to our place (the M2 line): 25 minutes From Copenhagen Central Station: 12 minutes with the S-train, 15 minutes with the metro (with the M3 and the M2 line)

Nearest airport

Copenhagen Airport: 25 minutes by metro, 25 minutes by car (depending on traffic)

Getting around

Vanløse metro station: 5 minutes walk Loads of bus stops within a few minutes Bicycles (can be rented and used to discover the city) Malmö (Sweden): about 1 hour car/train
