General overview

This beautiful historic home was built at the turn of the 20th century. Originally a smaller 4 room house, continuous renovation now has it at 3000 sqft including 5 beds, 4 baths and many of the touches you'd expect only in more modern builds. It is interesting, exciting but comfortable. The perfect home base for exploring the deep south. The home, like this page, is still a work in progress. We welcome all inquiries but expect frequent updates and changes through the better part of 2023.

The space

We have a guest bedroom with private entrance for hosting hospitality visits for 2 adults or less. An additional 2 bedrooms (2 with cribs, 1 with bed) ready to go, and an office/bedroom available for full house swaps. Street parking, with a dedicated pad in the back, and also open to leaving a vehicle if needed. 2 stories, huge front porch, lit river rock patio with seating and firepit in the back yard.

You'll find yourself in the middle of one of the best streets in Macon. Surrounded by artists, professors and kind folks. A block away from the beautiful Mercer University and a beautiful city park. Just a mile and a half away from the heart of downtown Macon, which was recently names one of the top 23 places in the US to visit in 2023 by Conde Nast.

Nearest airport

ATL for most, 80 miles up I-75 with transportation via Groome. Direct flights to Macon from BWI.

Getting around

A block away from restaurants, a park and a university. A mile away from the best Macon has to offer in Downtown. 4 Miles to the grocery store compliments of southern food deserts.
