General overview
Welcome to Stockholm!
Our home is located in Nockeby, a safe and beautiful, safe area near Stockholm city, Mälaren, forest and nature.
Here you can get the best of both the city and the citys sorroundings!
The space
Here is a brief description of our house and the spaces that you will have access to:
Entrance floor:
Hall, toilet, living room, dining room and well-equipped kitchen with access to a small terrace leading to the garden.
Upper level:
Bedroom 1: 90*200 kids bed
Bedroom 2: 180*200 bed, balcony
Bedroom 3: 90*200 kids bed
Bathroom with toilet, bathtub and shower
Living room with TV and exit to roof terrace.
Basement:
Only the laundry room is available.
The garden:
The garden is currently under construction but is expected to be usable in June 2023.
Then there will be a large terrace and a stone paved patio with pergola and outdoor kitchen with pizza oven and charcoal grill.
Notes
You are welcome to use the entrance floor, upper floor and parts of the basement where the laundry room is. (Total approx. 200 sqm)
In the attic is the teenagers' room. Those rooms will not be available for a change. We also have a study on the entrance floor which will be kept locked.
It's a big house and more people can fit. If you are a larger group than 4 people, we can arrange more beds.
Calendar notes: The calendar is updated with dates that we surely know that we will be away, but we are flexible and can arrange other dates as well!

Neighbourhood
Bromma/Nockeby is a district in Stockholm with a friendly small-town feel.
The local square closest to where we live, Nockeby Torg, feels like stepping into a Swedish middle-class historical dream.
There is a flower shop, sushi, a well-stocked grocery store, pharmacy, tailor/cobbler, dry cleaner, clothing store and my favorite bakery, Nockeby Bageri.
There is always a queue outside the door every weekend, with families on the morning walk waiting to pick up fresh bread for brunch, a semla bun (in the right season!) or have a coffee in the sun at their outdoor terrace.
If you enjoy swimming, swimming from a jetty is only a 5 minute walk away.
But if you prefer a beach, it's a 25-minute walk along the water from our house, called Solviksbadet.
There is an outdoor gym, good beach for relaxing in the summer, lots of paths for walking or running and a view of Lake Mälaren.
You can also reach Drottningholm Palace very easily from Nockeby.
The Royal Palace is one of the most popular tourist attractions in all of Sweden. It is one of the royal residences that is often home to the King and Queen of Sweden, who love to stroll in its beautiful gardens.
