General overview

We have a 3 bedroom plus office home with two bathrooms. Close to biking trails (we have 4 bikes you can use!), restaurants, and shopping (grocery stores and restaurants 1.5 miles away). Easy access to public transportation for travel into San Francisco or Oakland. We do have 2 sweet cats who will be shy at first but once they are comfortable with you, would love to snuggle on the couch with you.

The space

Single story home with 3 bedrooms plus a den/office. When you first walk in we have a sitting room which then leads into a large open concept kitchen and family room with a great couch for watching movies after a day of exploring. We have a TV with cable and many streaming options (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV). Kitchen has a microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, blender, electric kettle, Keurig coffee maker and traditional coffee maker. We love to cook so we have all the utensils you will need. To the right of the first sitting room is the master bedroom which has a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. There is a small TV in there. To the left of the first sitting room is a short hallway and two bedrooms. The first of these two bedrooms has twin bunk beds. The other bedroom has a double bed. Hall bathroom equipped with tub/shower combo. The office has a couch, TV (PS4 and Wii), and desk. There's a sliding door leading out to a patio. We have a large backyard with plenty of open space for kids to play. Two paved patios with furniture and overhead lights if you want to stay out in the evening. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Garage is equipped with a home gym including a Peloton bike.

Access to biking trails to explore (we have 4 bikes you can use). Suburban neighborhood on a quiet street. We are the corner house so only have a neighbor on one side and behind us.

Within 2 miles we have multiple grocery stores (Safeway, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods), restaurants, and coffee shops. Public transportation (BART) is less than 3 miles away.

Hello! We are a family of 4. My husband and I both work at a high school (he's an English teacher and I'm in administration) and we have two sons ages 14 and 12. Our ideal times to travel are during June and July as well as during the Thanksgiving (third week of November) and Christmas holidays. But we are always up for weekend trips that are more local!
