General overview
Modern 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom home in a gated community in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The shared community pool is right across the road from us and features a kids pool and a deeper pool. Our home is located 15 minutes from the Cancun airport and just 5 minutes to the beach by car.
The space
Our home is 2 levels plus a covered/screened in roof top living space.
The main floor includes a bathroom, dining space, living room, kitchen and desk area.
The second floor has all 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. The Master bedroom has a King size bed and full ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and the third bedroom has a queen. All bedrooms have access to outdoor balconies.
The rooftop space has a bathroom and bar area plus a large palapa that is screened in with a living space, hammock and dining space.

Neighbourhood
Our home is in a gated community with a common pool, palapas, lounge chairs and an outdoor gym right across the street. It's a very quiet area with lots of trees. We are frequently greeted by monkeys and iguanas.
Our location is a 5 minute drive to the main beach side of Puerto Morelos and the beach.
Right outside of our development is a pedestrian bridge to cross the highway into the Colonia side of Puerto Morelos (there are 2 sides, beach side and Colonia, each have their own great restaurants and grocery stores)
Getting to my home
The community is located just off the main highway that runs from Cancun all the way to the south border of Mexico. We are a short 15 minute drive, taxi or bus ride from the Cancun International Airport.

Getting around
There is a pedestrian bridge that crosses over into town that you can use for walking or biking. Driving here is very easy and there are plenty of affordable taxi's all over town to get you to the beach or any activities.
Based on the location of our development, it would be beneficial to have a car. There are also a lot of cenotes just outside of town that are definitely worth driving to!
