General overview
Our home is located in Saverne, a small town with all the amenities.
Next to the appartment, you'll find:
- (3 minutes walk) Saverne's harbor (where you can rent boats and electric bikes).
- (10 minutes walk) City Centre, restaurants, bars, supermarket...
- (3 minutes walk) The train station from where you can go to Strasbourg (26min), Nancy (1h), Metz(1h), Paris (TGV in the early morning, 2h50).
If you'd like to eat organic and locally grown products, on tuesday afternoon, you'll find a small producer market only 300 meters aways.
If you like to hike, there are a lot of hiking trail, leading to a lot of castle ruins (the nearest is 2.4km from the appartment).
The space
The appartment is located at the ground floor next to a river called "Zorn", on a one-way street with almost no traffic. Birds and ducks will be your neighboors!
On the other side, there's our neighboor courtyard. She's old and very calm.
Entering the appartment, you'll find a long hall.
At your right, you'll find a space with a drying rack, the bathroom with a bathtub, and a small room with no window which serves as an office.
At your left there is a big room serving as living room/kitchen.
That's also where you'll find the main bed (it's a murphy bed.160x200cm wool mattress).
The couch can also serves as a bed (120x190cm).
We have a small round table which can be extended to accomodate 12 guests (there is enough cutlery in the cupboards).
You'll find anything you need in the kitchen cook whatever you like.
Finally, you'll find one room with a bunkbed and toys.
