General overview

Specifically designed for short-term stays only 9 minutes from Magic Mountain, directly next to Castaic Lake, Santa Clarita and loaded with luxury appliances, bedding and amenities. The experienced hosts have created a stylish space perfect for travelers and small families. The property is pet-free, sparkling clean, located close to the freeway (30 sec drive) in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. 2 minutes to Castaic Lake 9 minutes to Magic Mountain 10 minutes to Valencia / Santa Clarita / Newhall 20 minutes to Piru 30-45 minutes to Hollywood 40 minutes to LAX Airport 45 minutes to Universal Studios 40 -45 minutes to Ventura Beach (our favorite clean beach) 60 minutes to Disneyland No pets.

The space

Fully stocked kitchen with staples like oil, seasoning, pans and speed oven. The loft has a KING SIZE new mattress offers guests a gorgeous mountain view and the opportunity to sleep under the stars. We had a custom couch built to fit our #tinyhome. The mattress is a Queen that's a full 5" thick. (It's not the regular sofa mattress that's uncomfortable & thin).

Guest access

The main sleeping area is only accessible via the ladder in the photos. Guests must be comfortable climbing the ladder. The ladder was custom made for our tiny home so it's safe and easy to use. The sofa pulls out into a queen size bed.

Notes

Our tiny home is booked almost constantly through various short-term listing platforms. Booking well in-advance is key to reserving a spot. The TinyHome is directly next to our personal residence. Guests may hear our children playing in the backyard.

Getting to my home

The property is located about 30 seconds from the freeway exit making it especially suitable for travelers passing on the 5. Easy on and off even for larger vehicles.

Getting around

It's advisable for guests to hire / rent a car for their trip. There's a Santa Clarita bus stop about 4 minutes walk at the bottom of our hill.

Brendie

The Heter family is a loving and adventurous group. Noah works in construction and Brendie is a teacher at a private Christian academy. They have four children and our family mission statement is : Love God. Serve Others. Have fun. I'm new to this community and working hard to make connections and create adventures for my young family. Our traveling ability is currently limited to North America. BUT one day.... when baby's and school schedules become easier.... we want to explore everywhere! Our Tiny Home is open for smaller groups with enough notice. Our main residence is more family-friendly and we would consider exchanging for a simultaneous adventure as well.
