Neighbourhood
Our home is very central. There is a train station 4 minutes walk away and several trams less than 3 minutes walk. To get to the very centre of Amsterdam takes about 5 minutes on the train.
We are one block away from a daily street market where lots of Amsterdam life takes place. There are supermarkets, restaurants and anything you need one to two streets away. So location is very convenient.
Oosterpark which is a lovely park to walk around is a few minutes walk away. And you can bike to the centre within 10-15 minutes. We are about a 10 minute walk away from the Zoo and botanical gardens.
I guarantee you will love the neighbourhood.

There is a tram stop around the corner that takes you to the centre. And a train that comes directly from Centraal Station. By bike its 10-15 mins to the heart of things but even closer to the historic centre. And about the same distance to Vondelpark.

We are a family of three. A mother from Australia, a father from Brazil and a daughter born in 2010 growing up in Amsterdam. So you can imagine with this international foundation we love to travel.
We are interested in most of Europe, Asia and Central America. Though our times that we are able to travel are limited to school vacations.
In the summer we have a summer caravan that we stay in over the weekends so we are open to non simultaneous stays over the weekend (and of course during school vacations).
We love discovering new cities as well as relaxing at a beach or hiking.
