General overview
Look no further for your weekend getaway in the beautiful city of lakes. Our home resides in the amazing Kingfield neighborhood of Southwest Minneapolis. It's within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and patisseries in the city. Including Cafe Ena, Kahluna, Patisserie 46 and Brasa to just name a few. On top of that, Lake Harriet (one of the best lakes in the city) is only a 10 min walk to the west. There you can watch the sunset, walk the paved trail around the lake and/or grab some food and a drink at Bread & Pickle next to the Lake Harriet bandshell.
The space
This is a 100 year old Craftsman style home with a lot of charm. The home has tons of natural light, 9 foot ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. It's been lovingly refinished with a new kitchen, bathrooms and a master suite on the upper level.
There are two large bedrooms on the main level with queen beds and Branch standing desks (for those who want to mix a little work in with their fun). There is one full bathroom downstairs that has been completely redone and restored.
Upstairs is the true gem, a full master suite with queen bed, a beautiful sitting nook to relax on quiet mornings and cozy wool carpeting. The suite has a walk in shower with custom tile work, Toto toilet, custom build oak floating vanity and heated floors.
We have a well equipped workout room in the basement that includes a treadmill, bike and an elliptical. Along with a selection of free weights.
We also have a small two car garage that includes an Tesla electric charger. A car can also be parked in the driveway and there is plenty of free street parking on the front / side of the home.
Guest access
Simple self service keyless check in with a keypad on the backdoor. We'll send you the code before you arrive.
Notes
Pets are allowed - But must be kept off furniture (including bed). No parties are allowed.
One thing to keep in mind, this is an old home and the stairwell that leads upstairs is pretty steep. This may not be the best home for those who have mobility problems with stairs and want to use the master suite.

Neighbourhood
King Field is a neighborhood in the Southwest community in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its boundaries are 36th Street to the north, Interstate 35W to the east, 46th Street to the south, and Lyndale Avenue to the west. King Field, within the King Field neighborhood is a park named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Getting to my home
We're just about 20 minutes away from the Minneapolis / St. Paul airport. Take 62 West to 35W North. Exit on 46th street. Turn right on Garfield Ave and head north two blocks. Our house is the green house with the purple door on the left.
