General overview
Great location for a complete Parisian experience close to must-see places of Paris. The heart of the 11th area, with Oberkampf street.
The space
The apartment is 60m2. Ideally 2 people but apartment can accomodate up to 4. It is located on the top floor of the building (5th floor) with a lift.
The entrance gate, protected by a intercom opens to a courtyard. Then a second door protected by an another intercom leads to the elevator and staircase area.
The entrance door opens into a hall, which links the living room, one bedroom, the separate kitchen, the bathroom and the separate toilet. The other bedroom opens into the living room.
Large, bright and cosy living room.
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, induction hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine. No dishwasher. No dryer.
Two bedrooms with a double bed (140).
A bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Separate toilet.
TV and private WIFI available.
Hair dryer, iron, ironing board.
Parking is also available.
Lift.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
Parties are no allowed.
Smoking is not allowed inside.
We would like to exchange with people who care for their place as much as we care for ours. Cleanliness is a must for us !
Our home cannot accommodate more than 4 people. We are non-smokers. We can do non-simultaneous exchanges.
We love our home and would definitely respect and look after the homes we will exchange as we would our own.

Neighbourhood
There are lots of places to eat and drink along rue Oberkampf, such as Café Charbon, dating back to 1900 and a lot of shops : food stores, bakeries, groceries, delis, pharmacy, cheese shop, bookshops, florists, bars, butcher, wine shops, greengrocer, post office, banks, market, boutiques and galleries, Monoprix, pharmacy.
Housed in a former foundry dating from 1835, l’Atelier des Lumières offers exhibitions made up of giant, animated images projected in HD on 3,300 m² of surfaces. The walls are ten metres high!

We are Martine and Bernard living in Paris in the 11th district. I (Martine) love London and everything English. Living in London has always been a dream of mine. He (Bernard) enjoys playing golf, reading.
Retired we have a lot of flexibility for traveling and discovering the world.
We love travelling, experiecing new places and would love to see how people live around the world. We both love exploring new places and watching the world go by.
We love to see more of the “real country” through the home exchange network.
Our are hiking, walking, reading, socializing, good food and wine, cinema, theater, some sport interests.
We love meeting people from different cultures, experiencing their art and interests. We also love nature and are hikers.
We usually travel as a couple or sometimes with family or friends.
After a bad experience, cleanliness is a must for us!
We are used to exchanging houses and already had many great exchanges on another website which given us so wonderful new friends.
