Neighbourhood
Petworth has a bit of everything! We’ve got easy access to all the sites (by foot, bike, bus, metro, and even car) and a quiet, porch-fronted homes to come home to! We’ve got great local Ethiopian and vegetarian fare, and restaurants that have been listed on Michelin’s Bib Gourmand list. We have a giant grocery store and a neighborhood bookstore. We’re just nine blocks from Rock Creek Park’s hiking trails and a mile from President Lincoln’s Cottage! I’m excited to share lots of neighborhood gems with you.
I love calling Petworth home, and I also love sharing my beautiful home and this wonderful neighborhood with others!
Nearest airport
Washington-Reagan National Airport DCA) is the closest. But the house is accessible by Metro or car to Dulles International (IAD). Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) is about an hour by car.
Getting around
You won't have to leave the neighborhood to find great restaurants or bars, a grocery store or pharmacy, or ample access to public transit.
They are all within walking distance (less than 1 mile). I'm also excited to share some advice on favorite gems of DC beyond The National Mall and White House.
