Your Story Belongs Here

Anyone who's exchanged with PLU knows the feeling. You land somewhere unfamiliar, and within a few days it doesn't feel unfamiliar anymore. The neighbours know your name. You've found the good bakery. Somewhere along the way, "staying" turned into "living."

We hear these stories constantly, in Member Support conversations, in the Facebook group, over coffee when members visit Sydney. And for a long time, most of them stayed exactly where they happened: in someone's memory, or in a message thread we got to read and nobody else did.

We think that's a shame. So we've done two things about it.

A blog worth spending time on

We've rebuilt the PLU blog from the ground up, and it's now a proper magazine-style home for everything happening in our Community: destination pieces, lifestyle stories, exchange tips, and the real experiences of members like you. It's easier to browse, nicer to read, and built to actually do justice to the stories inside it.

Have a scroll through it. It's already filling up.

Now it's your turn

Here's the part we're most excited about: telling your story is now open to every Premium member.

Between exchanges, destinations, and everything in between, we know there are thousands of good stories sitting inside this Community right now. The exchange that almost fell through and somehow turned into the best trip of the year. The tiny European town nobody's heard of that you'd send everyone to. The friendship that started over a set of house keys and a fridge full of local wine.

We want to tell those stories, in the blog, and in your Feed, where the rest of the Community can find them too.

You don't need to be a writer (though if you are, even better, calling all writers). You just need something you'd tell a friend over coffee. If you've got the bones of it, we can help with the rest.
