Your Post, Your Matches
The Feed now shows you who's a good fit — not just the other way around

For a few weeks now, something's been happening quietly in the background of the Feed. When you post looking for a destination or an exchange, we've been reading it, working out who else in the Community might be a match, and letting them know.
It's worked better than we expected. Since we started, nearly 600 posts have gone up in the Feed, over 800 members have used it in some way (clicking, posting or reacting to posts and comments), and 48 exchanges have come directly out of it.
That's not a trial anymore — that's just how the Feed works now.
But it only ever told half the story. You knew we were doing the matching, but you never got to see the results yourself.
That changes today.
How it works
You post as usual, same as you always have. Within a few minutes, we've read your post and run the matching. You'll see a notification: "You have new possible matches on your post." It's in-app only, so no extra emails cluttering your inbox.
Follow that notification and you'll find a link below your post showing your matches, split into two lists depending on what you're after:
- Homes you could stay in: members with homes in the places you named.
- Members interested in your home: members whose travel plans point at your area.
Making sense of the list
Every match comes marked Strong, Good or Possible. That's also the order we'd suggest working through them in, based on how closely the location, dates and exchange type line up with what you posted.
At the top of your matches, you'll also see what we took from your post — the places, the dates, the exchange types you're open to. That's the information the matching ran on, so if something looks off, you'll know exactly why, and it'll help you to write your posts in a way that we can understand.
Give it a go
Next time you post to the Feed, keep an eye out for that notification. It's a small change, but it means the Feed is now working for you the moment you post — not just for everyone else reading it.
If you posted recently, go have a look at your post now, and you'll see the matches that we found.
As always, if anything's unclear or you spot something odd in your matches, our friendly Member Support team is only ever a message away.

WOW Drew, this is terrific! Thank you for the vision, dedication, and work it took to make this a reality. It’s quite remarkable! Cheers ~
Thanks Barbara. We've already had a lot of enthusiasm for the Feed, as we've seen from all the posts. It's just fantastic to see the exchanges that are coming directly from those posts. We're still working on it to make it better but we wanted to expose the matches now so that posters can evaluate and send enquiries themselves rather than have to wait for the possibles to come to them.
