General Overview

Charming, fully remodeled bungalow with added second story and modern amenities. Our architect combined period touches with lots of windows. We love how inviting it feels when you walk in and see clear through to the folding glass doors to the back yard, creating great indoor-outdoor space most of the year. The home is airy and spacious, sleeping up to 8 guests, yet the soundproofing to the bedrooms affords great privacy. Our kitchen is a cook's delight. All appliances are new.

The Space

It's great for entertaining or relaxing with backyard seating, fire pit, and table for 8. The Master BR suite is spacious, and relaxing with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on (thanks to European Sleep Works). The 2 ground floor bedrooms are also light, spacious with a trundle bed in one. Upstairs, the bright sizable yoga/exercise room can be used for sleeping quarters in a pinch.has great sunset views over the city and bay.

Guest Access

First floor with the main common areas, 2 bedrooms (one with a trundle bed) and folding glass doors to the back yard with an insect screen (not usually needed). For those with accessibility needs: the rear patio is 2 steps up from the gently sloped driveway. The second story has the spacious yoga/exercise/office room and the master bedroom suite.

Infrared gas grill with accessories and side burner. Heating for outdoor seating.

BART stop is 1 mile away. Major bus lines are just a block away. Bikes provided at residence.

We are a travel and nature-loving family of four: 2 mental health professionals and our teen/pre-teen kids. Hailing from one of the most beautiful destinations and in an amazing neighborhood, we enjoy the many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and amazing entertainment and food choices within steps. With San Francisco, Marin beaches/redwoods and the Wine Country a short drive away a new adventure can be had every day. We are passionate about hiking in town and in local greenspace usually with our 4 year-old golden retriever, Blue, the cutest and most well-behaved host you'd want to meet.
