General overview
Our house is a cozy and comfortable family home in a family-friendly and quiet neighbourhood. It's a well maintained old craftsman house built in 1912 with lots of original features such as the original windows and fir flooring. We get ample natural light all day, and it's especially beautiful in the mornings.
The main floor has a large open room with living room on one side and a dining room on the other. The kitchen was recently renovated and it overlooks the back garden.
Upstairs has a bathroom and three bedrooms: the master with a queen bed, the children's room with two twin beds (a bunk bed which comfortably accommodates adults or children), and the baby room with a crib. We also have two single portable floor mattresses, and a second children's mattress to accomodate a couple more guests depending on your family configuration.
Our back garden is a wild English-style garden. We grow veggies and herbs during the spring and summer and we may ask for some help with a bit of pruning depending how long we exchange for :). There is a small back deck and portable fire pit which is comfortable for enjoying spring and summer evenings. We also have a small portable bbq.
The basement is unfinished and currently is being used for storage. It's also where the washer and dryer are located.
