Neighbourhood
Just south of Jaco; Playa Hermosa is where it’s at! Surfing, walking, biking, wildlife, yoga, mixed martial arts, schools, Montessori, art classes, cooking classes, great food etc…
Nearest airport
Juan Santamaría International Airport, San Jose (SJO) - 1 hour 45 mins
Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport, Liberia (LIR) - 3 hours
Getting around
To experience the area you’ll want a vehicle when visiting, we can make some suggestions. However, if you can take the heat there is a public bus stop 2km down the road. Uber is available but not always reliable. There are also many private drivers and tourist buses available. I do not recommend the red or orange taxis.

People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
