General overview

Old stones, high beamed ceilings, patios and greenery, sun and shade spots when you want them, stops short of grand and not luxurious, but instead is a simply lovely and comfortable home. Morelia's colonial architecture, Cathedral, plazas, mercados, cafes, restaurants, and museums within 5-20 minute walk. Year-round temperate climate of the central highlands (at 6300' altitude), we never need air-conditioning or heat -- though the occasional evening fire in the huge stone fireplace is nice!

The space

Entrada from street to interior gate leads to plant-filled entry patio with tiled fountain, then to dining room, remodeled kitchen, back patio. Living room with large stone fireplace; workroom/bedroom (can set up with two single/twin beds); main bedroom (king bed); sitting room; and bathroom also on main floor. Full guest bathroom with copper fittings off rear patio; also laundry room. Stone stairway to guest room (king bed or single) with full bathroom (shower) and upper terraza with dining table, sitting areas.

Guest access

Level entry from street and main floor, with some small level changes. Stairs to upper guest room.
