Neighbourhood
There are houses all around but not so close, so that noises are not a problem.
It takes just 5 minutes by car to get to the nearest beach and just 15-30 minutes to get to the gorgeous beaches of Balai, Stintino, Castelsardo and Alghero.
Getting to my home
Porto Torres (a harbour for ferries from Genua, Civitavecchia, Corsica, France and Spain) is just 10 km from here.
Nearest airport
Alghero airport is 40 km's from here
Getting around
We live in the country, so you need a car to go to supermarkets and anywhere else.

We are an Italian couple with a 13 year old son. We are teachers and live in a quiet town. We're fond of traveling, reading and going to the seaside, especially in our beautiful island, Sardinia, at the center of the Mediterranean Sea. We're proud of our island, but in the summer we usually look for cooler places ;-)
We love the experience of exchanging and we appreciate it a lot. I don't know exactly why but avoiding money as a medium makes being hosts and guests more friendly and interesting.
We're getting used to travel with a group: one or two couple of friends with teen children. That's why we prefer to accept exchanges with family with big houses (3-4 bedrooms preferably and 2 bathrooms)
We're trying People Like Us because we're looking for the real meaning of home exchanging and it seems we could find it here : kindness, hospitality, friendliness. We love experimenting the real life of places and letting our guests know our lifestyle and our area.

We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
