General overview

This is an amazing relaxing Island home has been that the house has been completely renovated, plenty of space, speaking of space there is a very great possibility of seeing a launch from Kennedy Space Center which is also located on Merritt Island. See dolphins and manatee in the canal behind the house at times. 8 min. to the Beach, 10 min. to Port Canaveral for a day cruise, fishing or an extended cruise. If you are from Portugal or Spain you can even take a transatlantic cruise right into Cape Canaveral 10 min from my home. It is 45 Min. to Orlando to visit with Micky and Minnie Mouse, at Disney World, Universal or the, aqua parks. Swimming in the back yard your choice pool or canal. Nearby: golf, Jet Skiing, Boating, Surfing, Fishing, Zip Lines, Zoo and much more nearby. I own a Ford, King Ranch SUV, very large seat 6 with room for luggage. It can be available for Simultaneous both house and car swap only. (Proof of driver's license) Thank you. All water sports are at your own risk, Including Kayaks, paddle boarding, and swimming.
There is a $150 US cleaning fee due prior to stay.
The space
Entire home newly renovated: since I live on the water with a pool I do not swap if there are young children. If I am hosting you and in my home I might accept small children. There is a 75 Foot Deck with Dock ,lift, Pool and 10 Foot Tiki Umbrella. Also, there are 10 Ft and 7 FT. Umbrellas for shade, a fireplace and fire pit. There is a dock with a boat lift. (bring your boat)
One extremely large Master Suite, Two Large Bedrooms (queen and Murphy Bed) with an adjoining Bathroom and one smaller bedroom with twin bed and pull-out bed.
4 full bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, Open Concept living room with kitchen, dining room, breakfast area, living room and den. Check-out 10 am. you can leave you luggage on enclosed back porch. For extended stays there will be a $125 cleaning fee.

House Is located on the water so small children could be endanger if they fall in the water or pool.
This is a one floor home. Wheel chair accessible, only one step in entry. Showers are open and can easily fit wheel chair.

Getting to my home
I am located on the east coast of Florida in Central Florida. East of Orlando, North of Melbourne, on the water in Central Florida.
Cape Canaveral Port is 10 min. if you are doing a transatlantic cruise from Spain or Portugal a 10 min. ride will get you home.
Coming from North You would take I-95 to 528 East and get off at the first exit to Merritt Island (after the big bridge).
Nearest airport
Melbourne airport is 30 min. and Orlando Intl. airport is 45 min. away.
Getting around
You will need a car.

We were very appreciative of Patricia opening her home for us. We spent quite a bit of time out back with fishing poles. The back deck has a nice breeze and good shade, especially as the day is winding down. We enjoyed being outside while visiting. All of our kids said they slept well, and the beds were very comfortable. Communication was good with Pat, overall and she was very kind :) -
We’ve done many exchanges in Florida but the one we did with Pat was by far the best of them all. Her home is so cozy, relaxing and you immediately feel welcomed and at home. It’s beautifully laid out and the deck overlooking the canal is just beyond amazing. Pat is a lovely person and she has been really nice to communicate with. We would definitely exchange with Pat again!
