General overview
We live in an open plan, renovated two storey converted shed filled with large windows to take in the breathtaking views surrounding our 50 acre property. We have a large north facing deck looking out towards the magnificent rainbow ridge mountains of the nimbin valley.
On the property, we look after a flock of colourful free range chickens guaranteed to provide you with fresh eggs every morning. You will also often find wallabies in the garden mowing the lawns and eating the roses!
Nimbin town is a popular tourist destination and is only a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive from our property. There are plenty of cafes, a general store and unique shops to buy local produce and souvenirs.
The beautiful protesters falls are also only a short dive away. Within an hours scenic drive you can also visit Byron Bay and many other famous destinations around the north coast of NSW.
The space
Inside our house there is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area surrounded by large windows to take in the country views. Three separate children's bedrooms downstairs will sleep three to five people. A large central fireplace is perfect for colder winter nights and will also heat the separate upstairs living area and bedroom. Upstairs the spacious master bedroom offers comfortable privacy with a king size bed, airconditioning and a nook looking out to fabulous mountain views.
The house is surrounded to the north by a large covered deck with an outdoor fan, lighting, eight seater table and hammock... perfect for entertaining or chilling out any time of the year.
The surrounding garden is a mix of large fig trees, natives and other flowering plants. The vege beds may have produce to offer and many of the fruit producing trees are bountiful depending on the time of the year.
For the children or those childlike at heart, there is a large trampoline and treehouse. Down the hill in the paddocks is a small creek where the kids often swim if there has been rain.
Sometimes there are cows in the paddocks, and there are always lots of chickens. We also have two dogs and two cats.
Guest access
There are a few stairs to enter the house on both sides of the deck and a flight of stairs inside the house separating the master bedroom from the rest of the house. We do not have a covered carport, but you can park very close to the house.
Notes
We do have two cats, two dogs (very friendly) and chickens, so any guest will need to love animals! The dogs may be kept outside and can even be kept off the deck if you would like. The cats do not get access to the master bedroom. They do take a few minutes morning and night to look after and full instructions will be provided.

We live on a quiet dead end road with lots of privacy.
Getting around
We are 2 minutes drive to Nimbin or a 20 minute walk. There are buses from Nimbin to Byron Bay and Lismore. There is a tourist information centre in the town.
