Getting around
We have buses, cabs scooters and bikes to rent that can take you anywhere.
You can borrow our bikes but the benefit of renting a bike is that you can leave it anywhere.
We had such a good time in Korallynn's home. It is comfortable, cute, and in a great location to explore Portland. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well set up for cooking. There were many walks we could do from the house (we found a great bagel place for example)! We had a relaxing long weekend, and I would recommend it to anyone!
My husband and myself had a great 5 days in Portland at Korallynn’s home. Best thing about the house is the location. Just minutes from downtown which you can access via public transport and grocery store/bars/restaurants all in walking distance. We did have a car for seeing the coast and other areas but you don’t need one if you stay in town. We walked home several nights after a few drinks.
The home was quaint/cozy/neat and well equipped with everything we could need for our stay. The fancy shower head was definitely a treat!
The beauty of Oregon cannot be beat. There are so many gardens, hiking trails, the coast, etc.
Korallynn and company were the most considerate, truly thoughtful guests.
They respected our property as though it were there own. They took in our town and surrounding area with a vim and vigor that should be emulated by all travelers.
Friendly, warm and oh, so very kind. They even brought us a little gift from their neck of the woods. We cannot wait to visit their home next month!. We hope the first of many swaps with this lovely family.
This was a sim stay and the family left my home in great shape. We had good communication about a few wants/needs at each other’s homes and that was so nice. Korallynn graciously watered my newly planted garden and that was a big ask from me. She even shared some of their fun things they did and some pictures. Seeing people enjoy your home/area is part of why I’m loving home exchanging. I would definitely recommend this family for a swap.

Our stay at Dawn's loft in Port Angeles was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we booked, Dawn was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making us feel right at home even before we arrived.
The loft itself was a haven of comfort and convenience. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, it exceeded our expectations. The beds were particularly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after long days of exploration.
Speaking of exploration, the loft provided the perfect base for our outdoor adventures. From 9am to 7pm, we immersed ourselves in the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding area, and returning to the serene environment of the loft each evening was a true pleasure.
It's evident that Dawn has poured thought and care into every detail of the loft. From the plush pillows and blankets to the well-stocked kitchen, every aspect of our stay was meticulously curated for maximum comfort and enjoyment. We especially appreciated the thoughtful addition of a privacy fence on the deck, ensuring our peace and seclusion.
The local town offered everything we could want, and Dawn's comprehensive home guide was invaluable in helping us navigate the area. We highly recommend giving it a read upon arrival to familiarize yourself with all the helpful tips and rules.
As for activities, the options were endless. From exploring charming Port Townsend and Port Angeles to enjoying a refreshing swim or embarking on breathtaking hikes, there was never a dull moment. Highlights included the Verne Samuelson Trail County Park, Ediz Hook Spit beach, and the awe-inspiring Hoh rainforest. And of course, no visit to the area would be complete without a trip to the Olympic Game Farm INC.
Overall, our experience at Dawn's loft was nothing short of exceptional. We're already dreaming of our next visit and can't wait to return to this slice of paradise in Port Angeles. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy retreat amidst the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
I am just humbled nearly beyond words at your kindness and your family's spririt.
We have so many improvements already in the works to bring the peacefulness and beauty of the area right to you and cannot wait to share it with you and your family in the future!
We cannot wait until our May swap at your beautiful home, too!
Hooray for travel and PLU!
Allen and Malini proved to be excellent guests! Communication with them was effortless, making it simple to coordinate a date and finalize the details. They departed, leaving the house in a remarkably clean and orderly condition. I particularly value Allen's delightful sense of humor and gracious attitude both before, during, and after their visit. Going the extra mile, they expressed their gratitude by leaving a card and flowers. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to stay at their home in Seattle!
We had the pleasure of staying at Angelina’s home. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with muffins, tea, roses, shower bombs and sun screen. She had asked me for a code that I would remember so we got into the house with ease. She put up post it notes all over the house. The house was impeccably clean and smelled wonderful. The towels were soft and the bedding was comfy. She left blankets all over the home as well.
We had each others cell phone numbers and emails so we could send a quick text if we had any questions. Throughout the exchange, I knew Angelina was a house swap pro.
Her house is gorgeous! We enjoyed it so much! We went to the water park, hiked at the local conservatory, went to spring training and checked out all the local breweries. We only had breakfast at the house and she had everything set up so it was easy to find. Truly she's thought of everything and made it so easy!
The laid back outdoor living was perfectly set up. She left out the pool toys. The backyard oasis was fantastic! The pool was a perfect afternoon activity.
We enjoyed picking up the duck and chicken eggs daily! It was a fun activity! Also, the eggs were so delicious.
Angelina was lovely! She was super communicative and answered any questions I had so quickly.
Angelina went above and beyond leaving my the house spotless and doing the laundry which was more than I asked her in the instructions for the home. She even left us a nice bottle of wine!
We had been in discussions since before the pandemic about the possibility of an exchange for baseball spring training.
I highly recommend doing a house swap with her! She is a house swap professional and thinks of every little detail to make her home perfect for visitors.
