General overview
We are often able to do hospitality hosting as long as you like dogs but did not bring any of your own!
Adventure Awaits!
Tahoe is an international year-round destination. Hiking, climbing, and other water sports dominate the summer while skiing (XC, BC, and resort), snowshoeing, and sledding keep you busy all winter long.
The space
This is our primary home, so we ask you treat it with respect!
You will walk into an open concept kitchen and living area (new gas fireplace renovation currently underway!), with ample space to enjoy cooking your own meals. Downstairs there is one bathroom (with tub) and 2 small bedrooms. Access to the back deck and fenced back yard from the first floor to enjoy grilling or lounging in a hammock.
Upstairs you will find the master bedroom with its own small bathroom. The upstairs shower is small, so if you get claustraphobic considering showering downstairs.
You will also find the TV room and exercise space upstairs. This is where you can hunker down during a storm to watch Netflix or spin on the bike.
Enjoy family game time? You will also find a game table with a pile of games and puzzles to use!

This is a two story home. It is NOT suitable for small children as the stair banisters pose a hazard.
THIS IS BEAR COUNTRY so we ask you to follow ALL rules (especially bear related ones) in the handbook left for you.

Neighbourhood
This is a quiet family neighborhood, walking distance to two hiking areas and cycling distance to both Fallen Leaf Lake and Lake Tahoe. If you don't feel like cycling, you can be at either in about 10 minutes.
Multiple world class ski resorts are within a short drive- Heavenly (20mins), Kirkwood, Northstar, and more can be reached for a day outing.
Nearest airport
Reno and Sacramento are the closest airports (about 2 hours) and San Francisco is usually 4-6 hours depending on traffic.
Getting around
You will want a car while staying here. There is no public transport in our neighborhood.
