Neighbourhood

The Barrio de Franceses (belongs to the municipality of Garafía) is made up of a fairly old population. It was very populated and its lands very fertile, dedicated mostly to agriculture and livestock. There were three schools of which currently none remain; the few children who live there have to move to another nearby town. There is only one basic store left about a ten minute drive away. About twenty minutes by car, there are supermarkets.

A few meters from the house is the main road where public transport passes about four times a day but I consider the use of a car rental almost essential. The house is part of an eminently rural area.

In other months, we will also leave a small but very complete apartment in the tourist center of PUERTO de la CRUZ, on the island of TENERIFE, two minutes from natural pools, beach and good weather. From our terrace, you will be able to contemplate our sea or the EL TEIDE mountain, the highest in Spain. In the Canaries you will be very well received and the climate of the islands, its landscapes and its people will make you feel at home. Welcome to the Canary Islands.
