Neighbourhood
Pisak has 2 restaurants, a bakery, bar and small supermarket for all your needs. Everything is located around the small harbour which is a 1 minute walk from the house as well as the several stunning pebbled beaches. There are plenty of outdoor and cultural activities possible in the surroundings. Within an hour drive you will find spectacular waterfalls, ancient Roman buildings and towns, rafting and paragliding options, fishing and diving, farmer markets, traditional villages, modern cities, a skywalk in Biokovo NP mountains, beautiful islands and beaches and much more...
Getting to my home
Croatia has great highways to cross the country fast. These are toll roads but not expensive. From the exit of the highway it's a scenic 20 minute drive to reach the coast. An alternative is to take the old coastal road nr 8 with stunning views of the Adriatic sea and his islands.
Nearest airport
Split airport is a one hour drive and Zadar airport two hours from Pisak.
Getting around
Shops, beaches and restaurants are only a one minute walk from the house. For nearby sites a car is recommendable. Public transport can take you to Split, Omis or Makarska. To visit the islands a ferry from Split or Makarska runs regulary. The nearest airport is Split, but Zadar is also a good option.
