The nearest international airport is Puerto Vallarta.
The town of Bucerias is a 40 minute bus,cab or car north of Puerto Vallarta. During the winter months tourists,birds and whales arrive from the north.
Banderas Bay where I live is the third largest bay in Mexico. There are boats,kayacks, paddle and surf boards for rent easily.

Walk down to main Highway to catch public transit north to Sayulita or south to Puerto Vallarta
Cross the highway to acces to the beach.
