General overview
Hello,
We are a family from the north of Romania.
I (Dana-39) am an English teacher and I have been teaching English for more than 15 years. I work in a highschool (www.nicugane.ro) in our town (Falticeni) and I am really fond of my job. I like to get involved in many activities with teenagers and, in the last 2 years I have discovered that it’s a great challenge to travel with them abroad. That’s why, I have organized to school trips with them to Barcelona (http://codrinanton.ro/index.php/blog/item/96-barcelona-ziua-1-montjuic-stadionul-olimpic-acvariu) and Lisbon (http://codrinanton.ro/index.php/blog/item/127-jurnal-de-lisabona ) and I have unforgettable memories. I like to teach my students to travel and explore the world because, as somebody said, “The world is a book and those who don’t travel read only one page”. In my spare time, I like to read, to play with our daughter,to cook, to have green fingers and take care of our garden and our orchard. During the school time, I give private English lessons at home.
Codrin (39, my husband) is an engineer and after he studied a lot (he managed to do the first Faculty of Forestry Engineering, a Master Degree in Informatics and at least but not last the second Faculty in Agricultural Engineering) he discovered that the art of photography seems to be one of the greatest parts of his life (www.codrinanton.ro). So, even if he works as an engineer at Plants’ Protection Area in Suceava, in his spare time he goes to some events and takes photos.
Ilinca (12 years old) is in her six grade. She loves painting very much, but she also loves playing tennis and dancing. In 2014 our family had the first trip abroad in Greece and Ilinca was very happy to discover new places and new people. She is very sociable and her wish now is to visit some amusements parks.
This is briefly about our family. I am sure that if we meet we can spend great time together.
We would like to have the opportunity to make a home exchange because we have a very nice house in Falticeni (http://distanta.ro/bucuresti/falticeni) and we love to discover new things about other families in the world. On the other hand, we would like to exchange because we can save some money on accommodation and save it for our next trip :).
In Falticeni we have 2 houses: one apartment in which we stayed after we got married, but after a short time, we decide to move in the house of our parents and renovate it. So, we stay now in a house with 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 play room and 1 library. The apartment has 2 rooms (one bedroom and one living room) but we love it very much because it was our first “nest” and we take care of it. The house is in the middle of a big garden full of apple trees and pear trees, and roses and sooo many flowers. I relax everyday in my garden and I am convinced that one you manage to visit it, you would feel “heavenlike”. These words belong to almost everyone who visits us. So, I invite you to discover it !!!!!!!
