General overview
Our home was newly built in May of 2019. It's a semi-modern 2 story home located in the heart of North Dallas. If traveling to Dallas, both airports are approximately 30 minutes away and UBER service is easily available for transportation. Dallas is generally a HUB for travelers to North and South America, so if you have a layover we welcome you to the area. We are easily accessible to all freeways and shopping is everywhere (even as close as directly across the street). Dallas has very unique towns for all types of travelers. If interested in an artsy, hip type of scene, head to Deep Ellum Texas where "an arrow pointing to a former warehouse district now transformed into the nightlife hotspot for live music, cool bars and casual eateries," or if you're a music lover, take a "music lovers tour" and check out the food scene. There is nothing short of fun while also being able to relax at our home. Many travelers come through Dallas for the cultural and art experiences. You will find several museums, such as the Ross Perot museum, and the George Bush Presidential Library. You may want to stop in Dallas, then head down to the Hill Country, such as Austin, TX. There are so many things to do here!
The space
The kitchen and family room are open and there is ample space in the backyard for playing. We have 5 bedrooms each with it's own en-suite bathroom, and we also have 2 half bathrooms to accommodate guests. There is a loft space with a TV as well as a theatre room with a sofa bed if needed for extra guests. Our children have full size bunk beds so each of their bedrooms can accommodate more than two people if needed.
