General overview
Our home is located in Truckee, CA in the beautiful 4 season fun of Lake Tahoe. We are steps from hiking and biking with trails right outside our door. World class skiing is 5 minutes by car to Northstar ski resort and 20 minutes to Squaw. Lake Tahoe is just a 15 minute drive to nearby Kings Beach. Our home is located in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac. We are a short bike ride to the grocery store, nearby restaurants, the Truckee River Legacy bike trail, Ponderosa golf course and downtown truckee is only a short 2 miles away. Our home is 2000 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath modern house, sleeps 7.
Great location to explore all things North Tahoe, and should you want to get a break from the wilderness- we're 2.5 hours from San Francisco Bay area, 1.5 hours from Sacramento and 40 minutes from Reno, NV.
The space
We hope you will enjoy all things Truckee and Tahoe have to offer. Our home is 2000 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath modern house, sleeps 7, located at the end of a private cul-de-sac, with modern amenities a gourmet kitchen.

Guest access
Guests can let themselves in with a easy key pad entrance. There are outdoor steps to get to the front door, and then once at the entrance foyer, it is split level with some steps to go upstairs to the main level (living, dining and master bedroom) and some stairs to go down to get to the lower level where the garage and 2 bedrooms are located.
Notes
There is a $300 cleaning fee which is what my housekeepers charge. This is possibly negotiable for shorter extended weekend stays.

Neighbourhood
We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac. Our home is located just steps from the bike trails
Getting around
We are walking distanct to nearby grocery store, the winery, and some restaurants, and numerous trails are right outside our door. Although the bike trails are often covered by snow in the winter. Lake Tahoe is best explored by car. We are a great hub to explore areas of North Lake Tahoe- Truckee, Kings Beach, Incline Village, Tahoe City, Carnelian Bay. South Lake Tahoe is about an hour away from us.

We are a family of four (two kids ages 9 and 13). We have recently moved from the Lake Tahoe area, trading our skis for boogie boards and have settled in our new Hawaii home located in the beautiful Lanikai neighborhood, home to one of the worlds beautiful beaches with its white sand and view of the mokalua islands. We love to travel and usually are available to travel during our kids school breaks or the summer.
We have kept both of our vacation destination homes (Hawaii and Lake Tahoe), but currently our Hawaii home is our primary residence.
