General overview

*As we are currently living in Australia, we prefer non-sim or globe exchanges until 2025. We could possibly do sim with places up to a 10h flight from Perth* Welcome to Zadar, home to a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, charming squares, the unique Sea Organ, and lots of entertainment. Our home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Puntamika, just a 10 min walk from pristine beaches and clear water. Enjoy the stunning view of the nearby islands and breathtaking sunsets from a big balcony. Alfred Hitchcock himself once claimed that the sunsets in Zadar are the most beautiful in the world. Come and see for yourself!

The space

Two bedrooms with queen beds and big built-ins. Bathroom with shower, kitchen and living space with big balcony with stunning views. The sofa in the living room converts to a comfortable bed for 2 people.

Guest access

Second floor without lift. Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. There is no designated parking spot, just park anywhere in front of the building. Parking is free.

Notes

Please note that the apartment is listed on Airbnb from June to September so we have limited availability for exchanges in this period.

Neighbourhood

There are plenty of cafes, bakeries, shops and restaurants nearby as this part of Zadar is very popular with tourists and holidaymakers. It's a 10 min drive to the Old Town, about 3-4 km. You can also take the city bus or Uber or even walk along the coast if you're feeling adventurous (about 40 min). Zadar is a great base for exploring the many islands, national parks, lakes, rivers, caves, wineries and historic towns in the area, many of which are Unesco World Heritage List.

Getting to my home

You can get here by plane (lots of budget airlines within Europe fly directly to Zadar), drive or take the bus from major cities.

Nearest airport

Zadar Airport is a 30 min car ride away. Zagreb is about 3h away and Split 1.5 h.

Getting around

Small shops and bakeries are walking distance. Bigger supermarkets are 5-10 min with a car. There is also a city bus and plenty of taxis, or you can take an Uber to the Old Town or shopping centres.
