Our home is little but comfortable in a safe and quiet neighborhood in the city on Windsor, border city with Detroit Michigan.
Windsor is a city in Ontario, Canada, across the Detroit River from the U.S. city of Detroit. Its main waterfront park stretches about 5 kilometres, from the 1929 Ambassador suspension bridge past the contemporary Windsor Sculpture Park. Also along the waterfront are monuments dedicated to the Canadian armed forces at Dieppe Gardens, plus Caesars Windsor, a casino complex overlooking Detroit. ― Google
The space
Welcome! Our home has a large yard with a 12x4 pool, a garden and a playground. There is 2 rooms in the main level and a full bathroom. There is a small bedroom with half bath and a playroom in the basement. Plus the laundry.

Other things to like about Windsor: All the local wineries, so many amazing wines. Willistead Manor, Baby House - so much history in this area including battle sites from the war of 1812. Closeness to Point Pelee National Park - Canada's most southern point at the same latitude as Northern California. Peche Island - Natural area in the Detroit river where it meets Lake St Clair. All sorts of access to the Great Lakes as well.

I live in the east side of Windsor. 6 blocks to the water front.10 minutes from the border to Detroit. 3.5 hours to Niagara Falls. 4 hours to Toronto.
Getting to my home
There are 8 ways to get from Toronto or Detroit to Windsor by train, bus, car, plane or shuttle.
While Detroit-Windsor is driving distance to Chicago, Toronto, Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Indy, and Cincinnati, it's the two int'l airports that make this city the ideal base for North American exploring. Flights to any Canadian city is cheaper from Windsor airport than from any US airport, and flights to any US city from Detroit airport is much cheaper than from any Canadian airport, due to flights not paying international aviation fees.

Getting around
3 min to the grocery store and 10 min to the mall by car. 15 min to Detroit if the tunnel has no traffic :)
