Neighbourhood
Founded in the late 19th century by Scottish settlers, the village of Scotstown is part of the Eastern Townships Village Cœur network. Visitors will discover this rich heritage through various elements such as a typical Scottish tea room, and a tour of heritage homes and gardens. In addition, along the main street you will find the tartans of Scottish families pioneers of the city. Other attractions include a charcuterie, a summer farmer's market, a municipal park featuring the Salmon River, a cycling and hiking trail from Scotstown to Mont-Mégantic National Park.
Getting around
You will need a car to get to the house, but once in the village you can easily go to the market or to the river by foot.

We are a family of four with children 14 and 16 years old. We live in Montreal, Canada, but for now we are offering our vacation home for exchanges. We have never done a home exchange before but are used to travelling. A few years ago we left for a whole year of travels around the world the four of us. The children may or may not be coming with us on our future travels.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
