General overview
Our 4 bed, 2 1/2, 2750 sq ft home is located in sunny Fort Myers, Florida. There is a community resort style pool, splash pad, playground, tennis/pickle ball courts, and basketball courts. We are located 10 minutes off 75 about 25 minutes from Fort Myers Beach (traffic permitting). We can accommodate 8 guests (plus an additional 4 in air mattresses upon request). As long as it’s agreed to ahead of time, we don’t mind larger groups. Please just be mindful this is a family friendly neighborhood and several neighbors have small children.

- Smokey Mountains (up to 11 people)
- near South Bend, IN (6-11 people).
Pets: We do have a 6 year old Persian cat but he typically stays with Grandma and Grandpa when we leave.
The space
Our 4 bed, 2 1/2 bath 2700 sq ft home is located in a family friendly gated community in Southwest Florida. We can sleep 8 people (up to 12 with air mattresses). For those with allergies, there is no carpet in this house, 3 of the mattresses are organic, and we have 2 AirDoctor Air Purifiers going in the home (note we do have 1 Persian cat). Our home is equipped with Xfinity high speed internet for those who need be connected. We also have Comcast Cable, Hulu, Disney+, Prime TV, PlayStation 4, and plenty of family games and puzzles. Relax on the screened lanai and enjoy the sights of the pond in the backyard.
* Although our house was built in 2007, we are slowing updating it as we have time. We will be sure to communicate any changes and add more pics as rooms are painted/updated.
Guest access
We do tend to close off one area to put personal items just to give it more of a neutral feel. This is negotiable though and we are happy to accommodate any requests. We also don’t usually leave the garage open as we store our vehicles in there when we are gone. If the garage is needed, just let us know and we can make other arrangements.
Notes
While the home is suitable for children, it is not baby proofed as our children are older. Our home is also located on a pond and we do not have a fenced in back yard.

Neighbourhood
Our home is situated in Botanica Lakes Gated Community. It is a very family friendly neighborhood with lots of children. There is a beautiful resort style pool, hot tub, splash pad, playground, basketball court, and pickle ball courts. We are 16 minutes from RSW Airport, about 10 minutes off 75, and about 25 minutes from Fort Myers Beach. There is an abundance of restaurants, stores, and entertainment close by.
Getting to my home
We are about 10 minutes off 75 in Fort Myers. We are approximately 16 minutes from RSW (Fort Myers Airport), 30 minutes from PGD (Punta Gorda Airport), 2 hours from Tampa, 2 hours from Fort Lauderdale, and just over 3 hours from Orlando.

We are 10 minutes off of 75, about 16 minutes from RSW (Fort Myers Airport), and about 25 minutes to the nearest beach. As with most areas in Florida, things can be spread out so a vehicle is recommended.
