Neighbourhood
In our neighborhood, you will find walks through the woods and to the open space park (you may have to don some rain boots and jump across a small stream!) We have wonderful neighbors including humans but not excluding wild animals such as fox and deer. The neighborhood is surrounded by many farms that have animals such as cows, horses, sheep, and buffalo. You will hardly believe you are 50 miles from Manhattan! In our town, there is an award winning vineyard, Beneduce Vinyards, which hosts many weekend activities. Additionally, a lively hard cider farm, IronBound, in Asbury, just 10 minutes away. Check the website for all of the wine-tasting and music activities they have during the week and weekends!
Nearest airport
Newark is 40 minutes, Philadelphia and JFK/Laguardia are approx 1 hour. Domestic flights come in through Allentown, Pa and Trenton, NJ at about 30 min. Atlantic City, NJ is around 2 hours. No shortage of airports here!
Getting around
Although we have many walks in nature, to get to commercial areas, you will need a car. We are only 5 minutes from grocery and shopping. Many charming towns are surrounding us within 15 minutes. Further, we have big mall shopping or keep going for the big city. We have buses to Philadelphia or NY that leave from a local lot. Also, you can take public transport into the city from many surrounding areas so as to simplify the day.
