Neighbourhood
We are about .5 miles from Smith's grocery store and a Dairy Queen. You can walk to Southern Utah University which is is just 1.2 miles away.
Getting around
There are groceries and shopping within walking distance. You will probably need a car if you are going to visit all of the parks.
There is a shuttle from Las Vegas Airport back and forth to Cedar City about 10 times a day. It is about $40 each way per person. The shuttle drops you off about 1.2 miles from our townhouse, so if you are really good, you can pack a folding bike or walk with your stuff. :)
There is also a regional airport in Cedar City and an airport with flights from Phoenix, Denver, and Salt Lake City that go directly to Saint George.
