Neighbourhood
Our apartment is in a lovely complex at River Garden, Ulanbaatar. We have a mountain and river view, walking trails and many playgrounds. We have 4 bikes and helmets you're welcome to use also. There are lovely little paved trails where we live in the apartment area, and also a national park with bike trails just across the road. We have a cat that lives in our apartment and is very sweet and loving. Ulanbaatar is a vibrant city with wonderful cashmere shops, opera house, ballet, theater, diverse restaurants. Besides that it’s a wonderful launch pad to explore the rest of gorgeous Mongolia.

Getting around
There is an Uber type cab system that makes it easy to get around the city. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a minutes to walk from our apartment. There are also many restaurants in the city center too, a short cab ride away, or a walk on a nice day.

I'm an international school teacher and love to travel with my 4 children. Originally from the US, but have been a global nomad for about 16 years. We have two listings; our home in Kampala, Uganda and an apartment in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. We especially prefer visiting new countries we haven't yet explored!
