Neighbourhood
Qinngorput is the quiet part of town. There are local grocery stores and a restaurant. But nothing cultural in this part of town. However, the mountainside is in our back yard, and you can easily get to the old part of town by bus.
It is possible to rent a car in Nuuk, but do so in advance to make sure there are cars available (there are plenty of cars in Nuuk but not always for rent).

Getting around
Walking is 5 km. But you can go by bus number 1 or X1 every 20 minutes.

Soren
We are a family of five living in Nuuk Greenland. Our three kids are 7, 9 and 11 years old. We have a cat and a rabbit. Hobbies include outdoor activities as well as cultural activities.
Our house is in the quiet area of Qinngorput five kilometers from Nuuk's city center. The wilderness is right in our back yard and busses depart for the city center every 20 minutes.
