Neighbourhood

A ten-minute walk will get you up the hill to a comprehensive forest and creek trail network; downhill you can walk to a local beach or into the village of Sechelt....a 20 minute walk. In the other direction...a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk you will get to Davis Bay. Both communities have seaside cafes and a wharf. Sechelt also has an inland sea, the Sechelt Inlet. And we haven't even mentioned the Shishahl Nation with its 10,000 year history in the area.

Nearest airport

Vancouver airport is a ferry ride plus 45 minute drive. from here. Seaplane access is 10 minutes from our home.

Getting around

We are a 5 minute drive to Sechelt and Davis Bay, and 20 minute drive from our other beautiful little town, Gibsons. Buses travelling up and down the Sunshine Coast are a 5 minute walk from the house.

My husband and I are both semi-retired and self-employed so we are flexible about when we can travel. Our home is a 2 block walk from one beach, and a 5 minute drive to 2 unique villages and several beach walks and piers. Our home is a creative space for both of us, and our friends and family tell us it is a very comfortable home. We think so too.
