Neighbourhood

Our neighborhood is a well-maintained neighborhood on the north side of Indianapolis within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants and other shopping. Some of our favorites are Half Price Books and the thrift store next door (which goes to fund a local women's refuge from domestic violence). Neighbors are very friendly and many people enjoy walking their pets and exercising along the sidewalks. There is public transit within walking distance as well.

Nearest airport

Indianapolis International Airport is 23.4 miles or about a 1/2 hour drive.

Getting around

Our home is .6 miles or about a 12 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. It does help to have a car while you are here in Indianapolis. The bus is nearby, but requires at least one transfer to get downtown.

We would love to exchange houses for school breaks so that our kids can see the world! Our home is in Indianapolis, Indiana in the United States. It is between 2 and 5 hours from several large midwestern cities, and is 3 hours to the shores of Lake Michigan or Lake Eerie. There is so much to see here in Indianapolis, a number of museums, including the Indianapolis 500 museum and the largest children's museum in the world. We are nestled between downtown Indianapolis and the lovely cities of Zionsville and Carmel where there is lots to shop, eat, and see! If you didn't know before that you wanted to spend a week or two in Indianapolis, now you do!
