Neighbourhood
Both cycling and walking route networks run directly past the house. National parks are nearby: The "Kampina" (heathland) is within walking distance and in the immediate vicinity you'll also find the "Loonse and Drunense duinen" (dunes) and the "Oisterwijkse bossen en vennen" (forests and fens), with a number of places for something to eat or drink.
Haaren is located exactly between 's-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg and Eindhoven, 15-30 minutes by bus or car. The bustling center of 's-Hertogenbosch is definitely worth a visit. You can get there by bus in no time and you can fully enjoy the dozens of cafes and restaurants. There are several museums and of course the imposing Sint Jan's cathedral. A boat trip on the Binnendieze is also a must.
Getting around
Supermarkets and other basic amenities are within walking distance. The bus to Tilburg and 's-Hertogenbosch stops literally around the corner.
