General overview
House of 63 m2 with basement located near the sea (300 m).
We live in a small town with businesses open all year round.
A greenway allows you to discover the coast as well as the marshes. You can take it to go to Caen by bike.
We are in a region and a department very well known in France for its gastronomy (the most famous cheeses were created here!), its beautiful landscapes (countryside and half-timbered houses, cliffs...) and its History. (Landing beaches of the Second World War, homeland of William the Conqueror Duke of Normandy and King of England).
The space
It has a 700 m2 garden with a 35 m2 wooden terrace at the back.
The sun gives all day (in the morning in front of the house and in the evening in the back).
The neighborhood is quiet.
Guest access
The house is arranged upstairs.
There is a full basement below for storing bikes, gardening stuff etc.
It is accessible by a small staircase.
It is easy to park in front of the house or inside the lot in front of the house.
Notes
Merville Franceville is the starting point for visiting the landing beaches with its museum "Les Batteries de Merville" then 10 minutes away, the Pont Pegasus museum (Pegasus Bridge).
The activities of our city and close to the house:
an equestrian center "Les crins de la baie" which offers rides.
a nautical club for canoeing
a kite-surfing club.
A playground,

The height of romance, you will witness beautiful sunsets from the beach of our town or those of neighboring towns!
The big clock of the city of Rouen
The cliffs of Etretat
The Mont Saint Michel
Organic farm on the cider route. Typical Norman architecture: half-timbered house.
Norman cheeses are the most famous in France. They bear the name of the towns in which they were created: Camembert (Norman village 70 km from us), Pont L'Evêque (town 35 km from us), Le Livarot (32 km from us) , and the Neufchâtel (oldest cheese in France) 170 km from us but of course here you find them everywhere! :)
In winter, nearby towns like Cabourg (10 minutes drive) put on illuminations, create festive events.
In winter, the city of Rouen (1h15 drive) also has many illuminations and Christmas chalets at the foot of the cathedral (the one painted by Monet). There are gift ideas, mulled wine and other festivities!
In Caen (20 minutes drive), also the old quarters are decorated and chalets sell Christmas products.
Winter in Merville-Franceville has some surprises in store for us and some years we have snow in the town and on the beach!
