General overview
Our 12 year old home is well laid out. We have a bedroom, with Queen-sized bed and private ensuite near the front entrance to the home. It features mobility conveniences in the shower, and the bedroom has its own smart TV. The kitchen looks out onto a large deck and fully fenced,established yard and garden. There is a separate living room and laundry on the main floor.
Our basement is occupied, and is a fully operating 2 bedroom apartment, however, it does not have a separate entrance. Our daughter lives there and uses the back yard for her dog.

We live in an established sub-division. We are close to conservation areas, small ski hill, 10 minutes from access to Lake Ontario.

3.5 hrs to Ottawa
4 hrs to Montreal
5 hrs to Sudbury
Getting to my home
You will need a car.
If you choose not to use a car from Pearson Intl. airport, you can use trains until you reach Oshawa (approx 1.5 hrs). Bowmanville is then 15 minutes by car for there.

Getting around
It is possible to walk to the quaint shops in Bowmanville (20 min. walk), but to access other activities, you will need a car.
