General overview

We are located on the foot of the Hornfelsen, which is the southern tip of the German Schwarzwald region, and bordered to the south by the Rhine, to the west and only 1 km or 3 bus stops is Basel city, with direct bus to the city center. The appartment is located in a very luminous house, which keeps cool in summer, and has a lovely garden with fruit trees and possibiliities for barbeque. We also have a south-facing terrace with views on the Rhine where it is nice to hang out on the evening. 
In the winter time you can go skiing not far from here, while in the summer there is a number of rivers where you can go swimming, not least for the "Rhine swimming" in Basel which is a must-do.
