My apartment is a cozy 63 sq meter apartment in a building originally built in 1902. As is typical of apartments in the city center, it has a lot of 'charm', so expect squeaky floorboards, a tiny (seriously, tiny) bathroom, and electrical outlets in weird places. But it's a great location, with many bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and access to public transportation within a couple minutes' walk. It's the perfect location to quickly get anywhere in the city.
The space
My apartment is 3 rooms, 2 of which are bedrooms. Bedroom has a double/full sized bed, and the other has a double/full sized futon bed. I also have a large couch in my living room - just note that you have to go through the living room to get to one of the bedrooms.
Guest access
I live on the 1st floor (that's the floor above the ground level), and the ground floor is raised, so it's 1.5 flights of stairs to get to my front door (no elevator).
Notes
I did have a cat for many years, and I also cat sit often, so my apartment is definitely not suitable for anyone with pet allergies.

Neighbourhood
I am a 2 minute walk from a major bus stop and the metro line that goes to the airport, the amazing public transit access was the reason I bought my apartment! There is a grocery store around the corner, 2 more within a 3 minute walk. And tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bars within a few minutes walk. The area is pretty quiet, though sometimes on a Friday or Saturday night some loud teenagers will drunkenly yell as they walk down the street.
Getting to my home
I live on the metro line that goes from the airport, so it's less than 15 minutes from the airport to my apartment!

Getting around
So many things are within walking distance! And the city center, including many popular tourist spots, is less than 10 min by metro or bus, a 10-15 minute bike ride, or 20-30 minute walk.

I love showing people around my adopted city! I'm happy to meet for a beverage, to show people around, or even just be contacted for recommendations on where to go. I know a lot of great bars and restaurants!

Originally from California, I moved to Copenhagen a decade ago. I'm single and live alone, though I have had a roommate or guests from time to time over the years. I work in tech, doing UX design and I'm definitely a travelholic. My favorite thing about living in Europe is how easy it makes it to travel around. I'm almost always down for a weekend/long weekend trip anywhere in Europe, or a longer trip elsewhere in the world - my work is flexible and I can often work from home, as long as the time zone isn't too far off. I am a bit of a weather wuss (I blame the perfect San Diego weather growing up!), so I'm probably not up for going anywhere very cold in the winter, or too hot in the summer. I also do travel often, so I'm very open to non-synchronous or 'globe' exchanges.
