Canal Saint Martin is a vibrant trendy neighbourhood centred around the historic canal with its emblematic footbridges and sycamore and chestnut trees. Pedestrians and cyclists far outweigh cars as a result of recent traffic calming measures. Lovely park Jardin Villemin with a lawn perfect for picnics, gardens and playscapes is a short walk up the canal.
