View SW from the beach in the village at sunset. 10 minute walk from the house.
View from veranda on main floor at sunrise. This is overlooking the front yard with fruit trees (very freshly trimmed. So, they will be more full soon.). The village and beach is down the hill. Facing SE.
View from the room (office) on the top floor looking SE.
View from the rooftop terrace at dusk, facing West. The rooftop terrace has a nice bar with a central, gas-heated "fire pit".
View through the veranda, where you first enter the main floor of the house. The veranda has windows all along it that you can open or close, depending upon the weather.
Floor plan of the main floor (there are 3 floors). The top of the photo is facing South. The wrap around veranda is there. On the right top corner is one office (it has space for a bed). Next to it is a bathroom. Just out the hallways is the living room. It is open and continues to the dining room. Next to it is the kitchen (one wall is just a half wall, so it is open to the dining room). Next to it in the lower right, is the utility room (which includes a washer and dryer).
Going back through the dining room, there is the internal foyer. You can continue to another bathroom (with a nice shower). Next to that is another bedroom in the lower left corner of this picture.
Also, from the foyer, you can go up the stairs to the smaller top floor. (See another picture for the diagram of that floor.)
This is the top floor. The left side of the picture faces South. This is a large office with a great view of the Mediterranean sea (see another picture of the view). Also, from the top floor, you can walk out onto the top floor terrace (see another picture of it).
Floor plan of the separate one bedroom apartment downstairs. The left side of the picture is facing South. It has a kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, sink, and two burner range top / placa / hob), living room, bedroom, and bathroom (with a nice shower).
There are a lot of nice hikes from the house. We are about 2 km from where a national park begins that runs along the coast all the way to Nerja. This old watchtower is visible from the house (due West along the ridgeline. See other pics.)
This is a picture from the beautiful neighborhood. It is not so hot as inland Spain in the summer, nor as cold in the winter. Generally, it is very sunny most of the time. This area does not have as many tourists as Costa del Sol (West of here).
Granada is just 50 minutes drive North from the house.
Malaga is a 50 minutes drive down the coast, to the West. If you are unfamiliar, it has many nice museums, Roman ruins, an Alcazar, and a nice old part of town.
There are many neighborhood cats. They generally don't belong to anyone. They just roam around. Just don't invite them into the house please.
With the national park starting just 2 km away, there are a lot of wild goats around the neighborhood. There is a good chance you will see some. (They can't get into the yard, as the front wall is too high.)
We try to mix in nice, traditional Spanish decor. Spanish tiles, old Arabic elements, and similar. These are replicas of El Cid's swords mounted on the wall (made with Toledo steel).
(Please don't take them down because they are real. So, dangerous and not inexpensive.)
Part of the front yard looking West. There are multiple terraces, with fruit trees and a garden patch.
Tiptop of the house, view from the terrace where you can enjoy tapas and wine with a brand new fire pit!

There is also a showers in the other two bathrooms.
The one in the apartment on the lower floor is even a bit larger than this one.
There are wild goats in the neighborhood. They are a little shy. But, you may see some. They can't get into the property because of the high walls.
One side of the mantle from the living room. The decor reflects the feel of the Alhambra. Because the house is in the province of Granada.
Another side of the mantle viewed from the living room. You can see a glimpse of the dining room in the left side of the picture.

Some very comfortable chairs out on the veranda to enjoy the fresh air and views of the Mediterranean sea. Coffee in the mornings is very relaxing here.
A view of the village, beach, and bay below. This is from the veranda on the main floor.
A view down into the front yard. There is some work in progress on the terraces in this picture.

View into the kitchen from the edge of the living room.
Another view in the dining room.
The dining room. This table can expand out to seat eight people, if needed. A view into the backyard can be seen through the windows.
