We live in a three bedroom townhouse in east Vancouver. The building was built in 1915 and was a bank before it was turned into six units in the 1980s. Our home has a great back deck, and your own entrance. Upstairs, we have original maple floors, high ceilings, and a kitchen, eating and relaxing living space. One bedroom with a bunk bed and bathroom is also upstairs. Downstairs is a large master bedroom that is quiet and dark for the best sleeps, even in a city! We have abother bathroom downstairs with a great bathtub and the third bedroom, which we use as a den and TV room. This room can easily sleep one person, or two children if needed on the pull out couch. The home is cool in the summers and very quiet due to the solid brick building. We are located in a great neighborhood in Vancouver. It is easy to access all the best Vancouver attractions either by bike, walking or transit, or explore the cafes, restaurants, breweries and shops right in the neighborhood. LGBTQI+ friendly
I will add more pictures soon. This profile is a work in progress!

Neighbourhood
Our neighbourhood is great! We live 2 blocks from Commerical Drive, or “the Drive”. This is also known as Little Italy and is a vibrant and diverse area. We can walk for groceries, coffee, food, beer, parks, and access to the sky train, which will bring you downtown in 20 minutes. It is a half hour drive to the local mountains, and 2 hours from Whistler. You can ride a bike to about 10 local beaches all within the city!
Getting to my home
Easy access via car, Uber, or public transit.
Nearest airport
Vancouver International, approx 30 minutes by car or 45 by transit
Getting around
Extremely walkable neighborhood. You will not need a car to explore the city. If you want to go to Whistler or farther in the area, a car is a good idea.

We are a family of four, and we either travel as two adults, one adult and two kids (14 and 11), or all four of us together! The adults are two females, so LGBTQI+ places are important to us!
We are new to home exchanging, but are excited to start. Currently, we are planning a trip to Europe for summer 2022. Primarily looking for places in Portugal and Netherlands, where we have friends and family. Would love to spend some time in Paris, and are very open to other European destinations.
