Beautiful home in convenient neighborhood. Less than 1 mi to restaurants and shops, 2 mi to the Highlands, Berkeley & Sloan Lake neighborhoods, 5 mi to Downtown and Stadiums, 20 minutes to Red Rocks, and 1+ hrs to major ski resorts!
The space
You will enjoy this 1950s updated ranch. With over 2200 square feet of living space on 2 levels, there is plenty of space to spread out. Relax on the patio while enjoying the gas fire pit or soak in the jetted tub, both are perfect after a day on the mountain or adventuring around town. I have everything you need to be comfortable: towels, shampoo, soap, single serve coffee maker, iron, stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, gas grill, office/yoga/meditation room, hand weights, wifi and streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Apple TV+, HboMax). If you need it, chances are I've got it! My home has 3 bedrooms with a king bed and 2 queens, as well as a twin daybed on the 3 season porch (late Spring to early Fall). There is plenty of space for an air mattress or sleeping bags if you have a larger group.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home.
Notes
Ideally, guests will also care for my 2 friendly hypoallergenic dogs: Henry, a 12 year old Goldendoodle, and Bernie, a 7 year old Lhasapoo. They are pretty easy to care for, love a walk around the neighborhood or playing fetch in the backyard. They are ALWAYS ready for a good snuggle :)
I will happily care for your pets and treat them as my own.
My home is my sanctuary and I will treat your home with as much love and respect as I do my own.

Neighbourhood
My house is in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood, with restaurants, shops, and grocery store 8-12 blocks away. My neighbors are very friendly should you need anything during your stay.
Getting to my home
From I-70 take the Wadsworth Blvd exit and go south about 2.5 miles. Turn left on 32nd Ave, right on Teller St, then left on 30th Ave.
The light rail from the airport will drop you at Olde Town Arvada, and from there it is a quick (less than 10 min) Lyft/Uber ride or 25 min by bus (however this includes about 15 min of walking -- not ideal with luggage).
Nearest airport
Denver International Airport is 29 miles east.
Getting around
Having a vehicle will give you the best access to explore Denver and the surrounding areas, especially the mountains. However, there are bus stops within 2 blocks (5 min walk) from the house and Lyft/Uber is readily available.

Hello! I am a school counselor and live to travel during my school breaks (June-July, last week of November, end of Dec/beginning of Jan, and mid-March). I either travel solo or with my boyfriend. We are in a *very* long distance relationship (I'm in USA, he is in Denmark) so we try to meet up in various European cities.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
