We live in Kinderdijk which is a quaint little Dutch town it has the largest group of old mills in the Netherlands. The windmills of Kinderdijk are one of the best-known Dutch tourist sites. They have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Our home is situated a few meters from the river with amazing views! Built in the 1920s with a Scandinavian flair!
The space
The house was built in the 1920s and belonged to the ferry owner, which is why the house looks over the river. We’ve remodeled the home to achieve an open layout. On the first floor we have a good sized living room with an open kitchen and dining area. There’s a separate working area and toilet. Upstairs there’s the master bedroom and main bathroom along with 2 children's bedrooms There’s also a long terrace which provide nice views of the backyard. The basement has an en suite bedroom, kitchen and bathroom and even has its own entrance. The laundry room is also situated in the basement along with storage space. There’s a good sized garden and if you walk through the passage it’ll take you to a grassy patch fun for the kids!

Getting to my home
There’s a waterbus that connects via Rotterdam and Dordrecht. There’s a bus that stops at the end of the street. However the best way would be to take the car, we’ve got parking space covered!
